Vanessa Löw is an MSc student in Health Sciences and Technology at ETH Zurich, majoring in Neurosciences. Currently, she is conducting her master’s thesis at the Institute of Neuropathology at the University Hospital Zurich, focusing on prion disease and neurodegeneration.
From December 2022 to October 2023, she contributed to the NOVA study as part of the doctoral research of Jinjoo Shim, doctoral alumnus at the Center for Digital Health Interventions at ETH Zurich. Vanessa’s work primarily involved assisting with study preparation and supporting in-hospital visits through the administration of questionnaires and interviews. Vanessa holds a BSc degree in Health Sciences and Technology from ETH Zurich which equips her with a interdisciplinary academic foundation, and an interest in the integration of novel digital technologies in the field of health science research.
