Finn Bürki is currently pursuing a MAS in Management, Technology and Economics (MTEC) at ETH Zurich. He is currently conducting his MAS thesis with the ADAMMA Research Group, focusing on capacity management and financial optimization of hospitals, leveraging AI to make better use of the vast granular data that is often underutilized for strategic decision‑making.
His past research includes deep‑learning‑based shoulder segmentation with inference‑accuracy prediction, as well as predictive‑maintenance solutions that combine machine learning (ML) and the Internet of Things (IoT) for facility management.
Finn holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Bern and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from ZHAW. He currently works as an Application Manager for medical systems at a large orthopedic hospital in Zurich.
